Attending online? UB students taking the class for credit will use UB’s Learning Management System (Sakai). The community will utilize this blog for course information.

    I am working on applying the latest science to Baltimore’s problems. The available insights are breathtaking but are very difficult to convey to the general public.

    To paraphrase Einstein, you cannot get out of a problem using the same logic that got you into it.

    My long essay and video are on the Web but are a bit much for most people. I am now dividing the material into chapters to make presentations of less than 10 minutes each. I now have the first two chapters of “Baltimore in the Future Tense” on my Web site at:

    I would be most happy to give the first of these chapters, “The Big Picture” to this class. If it is well received then we can they move on to at additional chapters.

    I was trying to watch the live feed this evening and it would not load. I made several attempts after the class ended to watch the discussions and still the video would not load.
