Learn to create webpages at one of Langsdale Library’s free workshops

Join us at Langsdale Library for a series of free workshops to learn the basics of creating webpages.

In Introduction to HTML, participants will learn the basics of HTML (hypertext markup language), the language used to create web sites. This is an excellent course to attend prior to learning Dreamweaver or other web editors.
 * Friday April 8: 1-4 in Room 401. Register here
 * Saturday April 16: 10:30 – 1:30 in Room 401. Register here

In HTML with Style: Cascading Style Sheets students will learn how to learn how to enhance the design of web pages using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). CSS makes it easier to manage the look and feel of your web pages while conforming to accepted standards. Want to find out what else CSS can do? Come and join us. Some knowledge of HTML is required.

* Saturday April 16: 2:30 – 5:30 in Room 401. Register here
* Friday April 22: 1-4 in Room 401. Register here

Note that the workshops on Saturday April 16 are back to back, so you can take both of them in a single day.  All workshops are free and open to the public, but we do prefer that people register in advance using the links above.
