The budget for the federal government has been a major news story of late, and two competing plans for out nation’s long term finances will be a huge part of our national conversation over the summer.
You might have heard about a plan proposed by Representative Paul Ryan of Wisconsin recently and also that the President gave a speech outlining his own ideas yesterday.
Since I’m sure, like me, you were probably at work or in class during this speech I’ve dug up the official transcript so you can read it.
