Public History Exhibit
Currently there is no professional museum dedicated to the story of Henrietta Lacks. This semester you will work in teams to create an ideal exhibit that will tell her story. In the process you will learn about the way public historians create exhibits.
Imagine you are visiting a museum exhibit. When you walk in you will see a title and a panel setting out the themes and argument of the exhibit. This panel is called the master label. Together your team will decide on an exhibit title and you will collaborate on the text of the master label. You will write a draft and revise it as a group.
