Sophomore Seminar Final Project

Students created a 60-second to 3 minute spot [such as a public service announcement, a poster presentation, video, or a slideshow with voice-over] about a research/critical/professional/current aspect of the Common Read that one or more of their team members wrote about in a previous assignment.

This assignment:

  • creates opportunities for student collaboration
  • allows students to publish their work for a broader audience of campus
    and community
  • offers opportunities for students to create a wide range of texts in any medium
    (e.g. video, posters in pdf, slides with audio)
