The Kirwan Center oversees the standing SoTL IRB protocol that has been approved by UMCP\u2019s IRB.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The University of Baltimore has entered into this reliance agreement. With this agreement, faculty can propose specific SoTL projects that pose minimal risk to participants using a streamlined <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/research.umd.edu\/sites\/default\/files\/2023-03\/SoTL%20Amendment%20Application%20Template.docx\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">amendment form<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> that will go to the UMCP IRB for expedited review.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">All SoTL research that presents minimal risk can use this new process, although you may choose to submit through the UBalt IRB.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Want to learn more about how this impacts your scholarship and creative pursuits as faculty?
