Below we share different versions of what an AI syllabus statements on AI-generated material could say. The language presented are<\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> only suggestions<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">. There are as yet no clear policy directives from UBalt or USM.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Three different AI tolerance approaches are described: the prohibitive statement, the use-with-permission statement, and the abdication statement.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Limited\/guided use of AI is allowed<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"><br \/>\n<\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">I recognize that there are many AI assisted programs available to assist with writing. However,\u00a0AI programs are not a replacement for individualized creativity, originality, and critical thinking.\u00a0We may use AI writing tools (e.g.,<\/span><\/i><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><\/i><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">ChatGPT<\/span><\/i><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">) under guidelines as a class.
