Beginning our work with a staff of three, we currently have a staff of eleven, including two senior fellows, six Truancy Court Program consultants, and more.  Over the last ten years, we have been involved in a number of programs and reform initiatives, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Planning and implementing statewide and national <a href=\"http:\/\/law.ubalt.edu\/template.cfm?page=1191\">conferences<\/a> on a wide range of issues and programs, including unified family courts, substance abuse and addiction, truancy, the child welfare system, and the practice of family law;<\/li>\n<li>Designing and operating the <a href=\"http:\/\/law.ubalt.edu\/template.cfm?page=1274\">Truancy Court Program<\/a>, which has served about 900 students in 28 schools over six years;<\/li>\n<li>Creating and teaching the <a href=\"http:\/\/law.ubalt.edu\/template.cfm?page=1193\">CFCC Student Fellows Program<\/a>,  an experiential course for 2nd and 3rd year law students focused on cutting edge issues in family justice reform and therapeutic jurisprudence;<\/li>\n<li>Developing a comprehensive public outreach campaign that features media appearances and placements; publication of a national newsletter; creation of two e-newsletters, two DVDs, a website, and this blog; and <a href=\"http:\/\/law.ubalt.edu\/template.cfm?page=1198\">production<\/a> of nearly thirty reports, evaluations, and articles;<\/li>\n<li>Conducting over 29 <a href=\"http:\/\/law.ubalt.edu\/template.cfm?page=1186\">trainings and workshops<\/a> in a variety of areas related to court reform, truancy, substance abuse, and more; <\/li>\n<li>Consulting and <a href=\"http:\/\/law.ubalt.edu\/template.cfm?page=1181\">technical assistance<\/a> focused on the implementation and evaluation of family justice system reform in 10 states, the District of Columbia, and Canada.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\nOn Thursday, March 3, CFCC will celebrate our tenth anniversary with a two-part special <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ubalt.edu\/news\/index.cfm?id=1376\">event<\/a> at the UB Law School. Beginning at noon in the Moot Court Room, the law school with feature a joint \u201cLunchtime Law\u201d lecture, \u201cTherapeutic Jurisprudence: A Family-Friendly Approach,\u201d by two of our most valued colleagues and leaders in the therapeutic jurisprudence movement, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.judgehora.com\/default.htm\">Judge Peggy Hora<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.law.arizona.edu\/faculty\/getprofile.cfm?facultyid=91\">Professor David Wexler<\/a>.  There also will be an evening celebration in the Moot Court Room from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. with distinguished speakers, followed by drinks and hors d\u2019oeuvres in the law school lobby from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m.. <\/p>\n<p>Both events are free and open to the public, but we do request an RSVP for the evening portion.
