Gregory Robertson – Character Development modeling cycle – Part 1

My character:

I worked on creating my characters torso and arms this week.  Creating the  torso was time consuming.  I  had a little trouble creating the arms to look more 3-Dimensionally realistic in Maya.  I used the image plane of my drawing and tried to carefully extend the vertices, occasionally faces, and edges proportionally to the image plane with the polygon primitive that was created to create my character.  I also used the sculpt geometrical tool to extrude sculpt the arms and torso.    I will  work on the hands  for the next cycle.
