The Week of March 22nd – 28th, 2020 (Final Texturing)

 

Spend most of the Saturday fixing the hair and face texture to get it right. During the weekdays I was busy with the textures of the dress, armor, and bandanna.

Both the dress, armor, hair, and bandanna was worked in Substance painter. The shoes is painted only on substance painter but the body is textured in Photoshop. I fixed some of the textural errors in Photoshop, trying to match the UV map set and then send it into Photoshop to insert the textures. I am doing animation next and besides:

I will not merge my objects together.

Because of the issue that I put through Capstone 1 when I made characters, merging the clothing and the characters is such not a smart idea. Instead I will animate the body alone and see what I could do next later because of clipping and geometry issues.

So I am only animating the body…. naked… (cough)…..
