Good evening,
This week marks the beginning of my animation development. I spent the beginning of this week finalizing the textures of the model in Maya. I ended up changing the red textures to a burnt yellow one in the final model, as I felt this more subtle color scheme better suited the character.
I then imported the model into Mixamo to see how it would look when posed and moving. While the auto-rigging produced some errors in the animation, I was impressed at how accurately it was able to rig the model.
With this test completed, I look forward to rigging the character in Maya to create a more accurate rig structure.
