Originally I simply used Blender&#8217;s &#8220;join&#8221; option to combine all my mesh parts together, but noticed some pieces were left behind when I tried to move my model.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-458\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.ubalt.edu\/cosc420-spring20\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1229\/2020\/04\/progress34-300x195.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"195\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubalt.edu\/cosc420-spring20\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1229\/2020\/04\/progress34-300x195.png 300w, https:\/\/blogs.ubalt.edu\/cosc420-spring20\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1229\/2020\/04\/progress34.png 631w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>\u00a0In an attempt to remedy this I instead tried combining all the pieces with Blender&#8217;s boolean add on.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-459\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.ubalt.edu\/cosc420-spring20\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1229\/2020\/04\/progress35-300x244.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"244\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubalt.edu\/cosc420-spring20\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1229\/2020\/04\/progress35-300x244.png 300w, https:\/\/blogs.ubalt.edu\/cosc420-spring20\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1229\/2020\/04\/progress35.png 453w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>\u00a0This reduced the pieces being let behind but didn&#8217;t fix all of them and, for some reason, made part of the brim of the hat unmovable. While I want to solve this problem within Blender so I now how to deal with it if it shows up in other projects, if I am completely unable to fix it I may import it to blender and try rigging it in there.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For this week I was working on Rigging my model, but have been having some issues.
