GameLab was established and founded in 2015 by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ubalt.edu\/cas\/faculty\/alphabetical-directory\/sujan-shrestha.cfm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Sujan Shrestha<\/span><\/a>, a faculty member in the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ubalt.edu\/cas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">College of Arts and Sciences<\/a><\/span>\u00a0and funded by the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ubfoundation.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">UB Foundation.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The GameLab is available to any student at UB interested in conducting research in Science,\u00a0Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) through the Arts (STEAM).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">The GameLab is currently used as:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li>A studio for students, faculty and scholars working in diverse media, including painting and sculpture, movies and theater, computer images and software development, games and interactive media.<\/li>\n<li>An exhibition space to support STEAM education. It provides partnership opportunities\u00a0with local and regional institutes to develop creative and scholarly initiatives for\u00a0students and faculty.<\/li>\n<li>A workshop space for mathematicians, scientists, students, artists and scholars with an\u00a0interest in education and the arts.
