On May 20, law school <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\"><b>Dean Ronald Weich<\/b><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\"> and\u00a0<\/span>Alumni Board<span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">\u00a0President <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\"><b>Jasmine Pope, J.D. \u201918<\/b><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">, hosted the\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/FpNaFs1zEio\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">first-ever virtual alumni awards celebration<\/a><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">.<\/span><\/p><p>\u201cWe are thrilled to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of some of our shining stars and to capture them here in this program,\u201d says Weich in the video. \u201cThe extraordinary contributions of University of Baltimore School of Law alumni rising to the occasion make us all proud.\u201d<\/p><p>Award recipients are chosen by the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/law.ubalt.edu\/alumni\/volunteer\/alumni-board\/index.cfm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">UB Law Alumni\u00a0Board<\/a><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">. Warnken Alumni Award<\/b>, named after the legendary professor known as \u201cMr. UB,\u201d recognizes a graduate who has enhanced the reputation of the School of Law and the legal profession by consistently demonstrating excellence in their practice through high ethical standards, commitment to community\u00a0service, and commitment to mentoring law students and fellow attorneys. Stuart R. Berger, J.D. \u201984<\/b>, who currently serves as a judge on the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/msa.maryland.gov\/msa\/mdmanual\/30sp\/html\/msa02816.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Maryland Court of Special Appeals<\/a>.
