She graduated from Drexel University with a B.A. in International Area Studies, focusing on International Justice and Human Rights. Prior to law school, Kala worked as a foreign education credential evaluator for Laureate Education. She currently works as a senior foreign credential evaluator for Silvergate Evaluations providing evaluations for employment immigration. After graduation, Kala intends to work as a non-profit immigration attorney and represent unaccompanied minors.
