Jillianne Trotter<\/strong><\/p>\n Jillianne is a 3L with an interest in education law and policy. She previously interned at Disability Rights Maryland, Kennedy Krieger’s Project Heal, and the Office of the Attorney General in their education division. Prior to law school, Jillianne worked as a children’s librarian for six years. Her interests in legal tech developed when she was a volunteer for the Supportive Decision-Making Coalition, which is a coalition that advocates for less restrictive alternatives to guardianship. Like for many populations, the lack of accessibility to consistent state-wide court records continues to be a barrier to effectively advocating for individuals with disabilities. Jillianne is excited to participate in the Legal Data and Design Clinic to learn other ways to find solutions to long-standing systemic issues.
