It might be because we’re busier, or maybe it’s a lack of summer reading programs like we had as kids (although Enoch Pratt Free Library has a great adult summer reading program<\/a>). Hopefully this summer you’ll find time at the beach, on your stoop, or enjoying your air conditioning with a great book. The Internet has many sources of inspiration:<\/div>\n

Many of our librarians are headed to Las Vegas for this year’s American Library Association Annual Conference<\/a> to present on assessment research and AV preservation, and to learn about what other libraries and librarians are accomplishing across the country.
