Drawing on meditation techniques from Buddhist spiritual traditions, secular forms of mindfulness are cropping up in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.huffingtonpost.com\/2012\/08\/29\/mindfulness-businesses-corporate-employees-meditation_n_1840690.html\" target=\"_blank\">corporate offices<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.insidehighered.com\/blogs\/gradhacker\/mindfulness-awareness-stress-reduction\" target=\"_blank\">college campuses<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2007\/06\/16\/us\/16mindful.html\" target=\"_blank\">public schools<\/a>.&nbsp;Closer to home, researchers from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health teamed up with Penn State and Baltimore&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/hlfinc.org\/about-us\/\" target=\"_blank\">Holistic Life Foundation<\/a> to bring mindfulness to urban youth.
