Digital Archivist Aiden Faust worked with Mary Rose Madden and Jamyla Kay of WPYR, Baltimore&#8217;s local National Public Radio station, to provide <a href=\"http:\/\/wypr.drupal.publicbroadcasting.net\/post\/1992-barclay-middle-school-civil-rights-project\" target=\"_blank\">oral histories<\/a> from Baltimore participants in the March from our collection of the <i><a href=\"http:\/\/langsdale.ubalt.edu\/special-collections\/a-z-holdings-list\/jo-ann-robinson-gertrude-williams\/series1.cfm\" target=\"_blank\">Barclay School Civil Rights<\/a><\/i> project.<\/p>\n<p>Head of Special Collections Benjamin Blake attended the recent celebration in DC and has created a display commemorating the anniversary event.&nbsp; We hope you&#8217;ll stop by and take a look at it.<\/p>\n<div style=\"clear: both;text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-8kZqmqj3Ik0\/Ui3ubQd889I\/AAAAAAAAAGs\/EV1mrB3Xdyg\/s1600\/march+display1.jpg\" style=\"margin-left: 1em;margin-right: 1em\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" height=\"260\" src=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-8kZqmqj3Ik0\/Ui3ubQd889I\/AAAAAAAAAGs\/EV1mrB3Xdyg\/s320\/march+display1.jpg\" width=\"320\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>Throughout the next year, as we approach the anniversaries of key civil rights legislation and events, Langsdale will be digitizing and making available oral histories, news footage and archival&nbsp;materials related to the civil rights movement here in Baltimore.
