First, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/levarburton\">LeVar Burton<\/a> will tell you they aren\u2019t phrased in the form of a question, and second the acronym \u201cOER\u201d stands for Open Education Resources. Excuse me. What are Open Education Resources?<\/p>\n<p>So, what <em>are<\/em> OERs?\u00a0 At the RLB Library, they include our expanding list of databases on <a href=\"https:\/\/lantern.mediahist.org\/\">digital media history<\/a> (thanks <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/kylemeikle?lang=en\">@kylemeikle<\/a>!), <a href=\"https:\/\/mit-serc.pubpub.org\">MIT open case law<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.icpsr.umich.edu\/\">social sciences data sets<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crl.edu\/midas\">Mexican Intelligence Agencies<\/a> archives; our <a href=\"https:\/\/ubalt.pressbooks.pub\/catalog\/\">library of faculty publications <\/a>that = lower or no cost textbooks for classes this Fall; and other <a href=\"https:\/\/opensource.org\/osd\">open<\/a> tools that help us collaborate directly with <a href=\"http:\/\/library.ubalt.edu\/academic-success\/tutoring\/index.cfm\">tutors<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/library.ubalt.edu\/academic-success\/coaching\/index.cfm\">coaches<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/library.ubalt.edu\/academic-success\/writing-center\/index.cfm\">consultants<\/a> and get those resources out to students and faculty on a <a href=\"https:\/\/ubalt.pressbooks.pub\/\">slick publication platform<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>That collaboration is key (it\u2019s part of what \u201copen\u201d means). We\u2019re working together to build a set of resources that supports you not just with sources, but with a human library of experts.\u00a0 Who better to learn <a href=\"http:\/\/library.ubalt.edu\/academic-success\/math-support.cfm\">math and stats<\/a> from than <a href=\"https:\/\/ubalt.pressbooks.pub\/mathstatsguides\/\">a fellow student <\/a>who took your class?<\/p>\n<p>To extend the collaboration, we\u2019d love to hear from you!
