Many say it&#8217;s not a matter of <span style=\"font-weight: bold;font-style: italic\">if<\/span>, but rather <span style=\"font-style: italic;font-weight: bold\">when<\/span>, and some suggest that books will be obsolete within this decade.  To hear some of these predictions, read the latest <a href=\"http:\/\/www.npr.org\/templates\/story\/story.php?storyId=129251016\">story on the future of books<\/a> from National Public Radio (NPR).<\/p>\n<p>Libraries, of course, are evolving to offer new resources and services to students, staff and faculty in this electronic age, and Langsdale is no exception.
