The collection consists mostly of reels of 16mm film shot by WMAR for use in their nightly news broadcasts and goes back yo 1948.<\/p>\n<p>Because the film is old and has been spliced together, viewing the film through a projector is essentially impossible.  So Langsdale Library and the University of Baltimore is pursuing funding to have a potion of the film digitized and made available for people to view.
