Hutson, who had served for the previous 16 months as a reference librarian and manager of the reference collection in Langsdale, will be in charge of an ongoing program that over the next year will establish new and innovative services for students, faculty and other users of the library.<\/p>\n<p>Hutson received a master&#8217;s degree in library and information studies from Simmons College in 1999, where he graduated with honors.
