{"id":300,"date":"2016-03-03T19:59:32","date_gmt":"2016-03-03T19:59:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.ubalt.edu\/nhudgins\/?p=300"},"modified":"2017-02-22T13:20:19","modified_gmt":"2017-02-22T13:20:19","slug":"300","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ubalt.edu\/nhudgins\/2016\/03\/03\/300\/","title":{"rendered":"History Students Learn about Our Low Gas Prices from the Experts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Apologies for the length of time since our last blog post!\u00a0 The historians in the Division of Legal, Ethical and Historical Studies and their students have been busy, busy, busy with activity.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Most recently, on March 2<sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">nd<\/span><\/sup><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">, 2016, students in Prof. Yi\u2019s History of U.S. Foreign Relations class took a field trip to the Capitol Hill to witness a hearing of the U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations on \u201c<\/span>Economic and Geopolitical Implications of Low Oil and Gas Prices.\u201d It was a rewarding time for students to see how Congress set a foreign policy agenda and worked to accomplish it. The trip was made possible by the generous support of Helen T. Helen P.
