A special thank you from the University of Baltimore and its students to the Randolph B. Rosencrantz Memorial Fund and Maryland Humanities Council for their generous, continued, and future support and for helping to bring the Poor People’s Campaign course at the University of Baltimore to fruition.
The Randolph B. Rosencrantz Fund was established in honor of Randy’s outstanding lifetime work in public service and furtherance of the principles of good citizenship. The purpose of the fund is to grant scholarships or fellowships, sponsor seminars, and support other vehicles for the study and promotion of civic involvement. Randy’s family is very pleased that Randy’s legacy has been remembered – and continued – in this way.
The RBR Memorial Fund, a qualified non-profit organization, is administered by the University of Baltimore’s School of Public Affairs with the guidance of John T. Willis and Peta N. Richkus.
The role of Maryland Humanities Council is to inspire learning and promote dialogue about our heritage, culture, and future as Marylanders. While the humanities have the power to impact all of us collectively, the rewards of engaging with literature, history, philosophy, and social sciences are also deeply personal.
