<\/p>\n

Women are tiny things.<\/div>\n
Horses trotting around the world, circular, circular.<\/div>\n
Tiny little things like plastic military toys, army green<\/div>\n
in power, being flung against the wall.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

(I\u2019ve heard) Men are gentlemen.<\/div>\n
There are bottled up perfumes that no real men ever smell like,<\/div>\n
sable and teak, leather and smoke.<\/div>\n
Movies and books with slow simmered lust and kindness, thoughtfulness, intentionality.<\/div>\n
Real men are hard and demanding,<\/div>\n
cruelty on a monday morning, heaviness where you just wanted a breath.<\/div>\n
I would be light as air but my legs are in molasses and it turns them on.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

So many breaths interrupted by them<\/div>\n
when I was doing something, when I was trying to be gentle. I don\u2019t always want to be a knife,<\/div>\n
unsheaved over and over all day, the sound of metal slicing air.<\/div>\n
So many thoughts I could have transferred to another account instead it was dedicated to dealing<\/div>\n
with of you all. Olivia Benson speaking to the armed kidnapper but every day and I don\u2019t know<\/div>\n
what you are capable of, don\u2019t have the fbi profile.<\/div>\n
Air comes out of my mouth making words and my breath smells like desperation.<\/div>\n

Agility courses, land mines<\/div>\n
I am not a ballerina, don’t dance the circles nicely. I\u2019m a bald eagle, looking, listening.<\/div>\n
One earphone out, one hand on weapon<\/div>\n
eyes, flick, flick<\/div>\n
legs, swish, swish.<\/div>\n

Us girls breathing,<\/div>\n
antagonizes men.<\/div>\n
