You say there is no such thing as\u00a0<em>deserve<\/em>, and\u00a0\u00a0<br \/>I want desperately to believe you. Even though believing this\u00a0\u00a0<br \/>means knowing you know it too\u2014that you don\u2019t deserve me either.\u00a0\u00a0<br \/>But meteor showers are not so rare. And though the beauty is brief\u00a0\u00a0<br \/>and common, maybe my show of weaponized starlight will be\u00a0bright enough<br \/>to be remembered until next time.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-background has-medium-gray-background-color has-medium-gray-color is-style-wide\" \/>\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\"><strong>Hayley Bowen<\/strong> is an MFA student at Syracuse University.
