Mamacita<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n

For A.<\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The womb is an animal<\/p>\r\n

soft and alive<\/p>\r\n

he tells you you\u2019re sexy<\/p>\r\n

calls you kitten and says<\/p>\r\n

spring is in your eyes<\/p>\r\n

 <\/p>\r\n

And you believe him.<\/p>\r\n

 <\/p>\r\n

You believe him\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

because it\u2019s rained nonstop for a week<\/p>\r\n

and you haven\u2019t left the house in days<\/p>\r\n

and abuela calls you mija<\/p>\r\n

and you\u2019re ready<\/p>\r\n

so ready<\/p>\r\n

to not be a child<\/p>\r\n

 <\/p>\r\n

And when it\u2019s over<\/p>\r\n

and the sun is out<\/p>\r\n

and this man<\/p>\r\n

this man<\/p>\r\n

calls you kitten<\/p>\r\n

(and you realize too late<\/p>\r\n

he still sees you as a small thing)<\/p>\r\n

you\u2019re ready to believe<\/p>\r\n

 <\/p>\r\n

this is what you have to be.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
