Examples of engagement and impact of this theme beyond faculty research:

• Co-hosted a conference focused on digital transformation with the Bithgroup Technologies, a multi-state, certified Minority Business, Enterprise IT solutions company headquartered in Baltimore. Led a session for the Mid-Atlantic CIO Forum on same topic that emphasized how digital transformation is transforming organizations through digital technologies, business models, and strategy, improving performance and, creating value for stakeholders.
• Developed a Competency Framework for the Digital Future as an interdisciplinary project involving the cybersecurity industry, U.S. Cyber Command, and the Army Cyber Institute. This Framework resulted in the launch of a new MBA specialization in cybersecurity and an M.S. in Cybersecurity Management approved for AY 2020; a new joint track on information assurance between MSB’s B.S. in Information Systems and Technology Management; and the B.S. in Applied Information Technology, a program offered by the UB College of Arts and Sciences.
