From Chalkboards to Chatbots: AI Pilot Courses Launch Today!

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our generative AI pilot programs! Two courses titled From Chalkboards to Chatbots: Unlocking and exploring the potential of AI in higher learning have been curated – one for faculty, the other for students. These innovative self-paced courses, aimed at exploring the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in higher education, officially kick off today. 

Both courses promise an immersive journey, inviting participants to explore generative AI’s profound impact on higher education through reflective exercises, hands-on activities, and more. Faculty members will actively engage with five modules encompassing AI’s influence on teaching, ethical considerations, pedagogical strategies, policy implications, plagiarism prevention, and syllabus design. Concurrently, undergraduate and graduate students will embark on a parallel exploration, featuring five modules that delve into AI’s effects on learning, academic support, constraints within academic settings, and responsible application.

While current participation is limited due to research parameters, we do have space for more faculty participants! To join this pilot project and be eligible for a participant raffle, register by Friday, October 27th.
