Promoting Instructional Excellence (PIE)
- CELTT seeks participants for the Spring 2024 UBalt Promoting Instructional Excellence (PIE) Program. PIE provides an excellent opportunity for faculty interested in learning about evidence-based teaching practices, improving their teaching, or learning new strategies for their face-to-face, hybrid, and online courses. During PIE meetings, faculty gather with colleagues to listen, discuss, interact, learn, and reflect on topics to enhance teaching and learning.

Take the Course Challenge (TCC)
- CELTT seeks participants for the Spring 2024 UBalt Take the Course Challenge! TCC is a transformative program designed to enhance teaching practices and improve student learning outcomes via assessment. Focusing on faculty who have completed PIE, this program is comprised of an instructional analysis defined within the TCC Professional Learning Community and small group analysis conducted by CELTT.

- In our continued commitment to equity in higher education, we present a unique opportunity for you to break down financial barriers and bridge learning gaps. Incorporating Generative AI into Learning Experiences Virtual Showcase
- Colleagues from across Maryland Higher Education institutions are invited to save the date for this virtual showcase, which will take place on Friday, April 26, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. The event will take place online via Zoom.
- Faculty, staff, and faculty/staff/student teams from across Maryland Higher Education institutions who have engaged in the use of Generative AI as part of assignments and learning activities are invited to propose sessions by Monday, February 12, 2024, 11:59 p.m. ET.

MDLA 2024 Annual Spring Conference
- The Maryland Distance Learning Association (MDLA) is an association of learning professionals who advocate and promote the coordination and use of distance education in Maryland and throughout the region. UBalt faculty are invited to attend and present at this event at the Maritime Conference Center on April 5, 2024.
