UDOIT Coming to Canvas

The University of Baltimore (UBalt) is enhancing accessibility in its online courses for the Fall 2024 term. UBalt is using a Canvas tool called the Universal Design Online Inspection Tool (UDOIT) to spot and help you fix any accessibility problems in your previous courses. We’re starting with the courses from Fall 2023 as our starting point to see how we improve over time.

To further support our faculty, CELTT will roll out workshops on creating accessible learning materials like documents, presentations, images, and even PDFs. We’re also introducing an online course and a video guide to tackle the errors UDOIT finds directly. More information will be forthcoming.
