CELTT has put together a range of sessions and resources to make sure you and your students are ready to hit the ground running this semester.
- Canvas Essentials for New Users
New to Canvas? This session is for faculty who haven’t yet taught in UBalt’s Canvas LMS. We’ll cover everything from setting up your courses to creating assignments, quizzes, and discussions. Plus, you’ll learn the ins and outs of managing grading and organizing content. By the end, you’ll be ready to confidently build and manage your courses in Canvas.

For students, we’re offering training to help them get the most out of Canvas, too. Whether they are first-time users or just need a refresher, these sessions will guide them through accessing courses, personalizing your profile, adjusting notifications, and more. Students can join this training on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at 6:00 PM or Thursday, September 5, 2024 at 10:00 AM. - New Accessibility Resource Site in Canvas
Creating accessible content isn’t just about compliance—it’s about ensuring that all students can engage with your materials. Check out our new Accessibility Resource Site in Canvas, where you’ll find everything from tutorials on using the UDOIT Accessibility checker to tips on best practices for making your content inclusive.
