Wrapping Up the Fall 2024 Semester
As the semester wraps up, it’s a good time to get ready for two important tasks: completing your Fall 2024 course evaluations and setting up your Winter/Spring 2025 courses in Canvas. Here’s what you need to know.
Fall 2024 Course Evaluations: Key Dates & Details
Course evaluations are a critical tool for gathering student feedback on your teaching and the overall course experience. Here’s the schedule for the upcoming evaluations:
- Law Explorance Evaluations: November 26 – December 3, 2024
- UBalt Explorance Evaluations (15-Week Courses): December 1 – December 8, 2024
- UBalt Explorance Evaluations (7W2 Courses): December 7 – December 14, 2024
To check your course’s evaluation link and monitor completion rates, visit the University of Baltimore Course Evaluation feature in Canvas. Remember, the evaluation tool will be added to your course navigation by default, but you can customize it as needed under Settings → Navigation. Please note that outside of the evaluation periods, you will see a notification message indicating that evaluations are not yet available.
Winter/Spring 2025 Course Development in Canvas
Courses for Winter and Spring 2025 are now available in Canvas for faculty to begin developing. Important dates for student access to courses are as follows:
- Winter 2025: December 26, 2024
- Winter Law: December 15, 2024
- Law: December 30, 2024
- 7W1/15W Courses: January 20, 2025
- 10W Term: January 24, 2025
- 7W2 Term: March 17, 2025
