Our webinar builds from the Algebra Project’s foundation. It connects that with M-Power Teaching (MPT) – an AI that assists the development of skilled math educators and adds the crucial role of mindset for persistence and learning achievement.
Disparities in math achievement have always existed. The pandemic and the departure of experienced educators exacerbate these learning gaps. Advances in technology and educational research offer the potential to overcome these challenges. Without major change, we will guarantee further losses of talented young learners unable to navigate the US math curriculum’s rigid sequential approach to math education. Mr. Robert Moses, civil rights activist, MacArthur genius award recipient, and founder of The Algebra Project, identified “mathematics literacy as a civil right for all public-school children.”
