News Updates and Upcoming CELTT Events 

The Faculty Commons has opened in the RLB Library’s Lower Level! Here are some upcoming Power Hours happening here this month:

• Epic Fail! (Sept 12th & 19th): An “open mic” session for faculty to share classroom experiences and growth from challenges.
• Museums Uncovered (Sept 13th & 27th): A meet-up for art history buffs and curators, focusing on interdisciplinary dialogues.
• Pop-Up with Popcorn:
  • Microlearning Magic (Sept 20th): Delve into breaking down complex topics for enhanced student engagement.
  • Gamification Galore (Sept 26th): Explore the principles of gamification to motivate students in the classroom.

We are excited to welcome Megan Kozub and Julia Goffredi to CELTT! Megan is the team’s administrative assistant. She will assist with event planning, organization, and communication with the UBalt community. Julia is a new Instructional Designer at UBalt, as well as the Emerging Learning Technology Lead. She will be coordinating the Power Hours hosted in the Faculty Commons, contributing to CELTT’s ongoing work with AI, and working with faculty on the path to teaching excellence.
