Preparing for Winter and Spring Terms
The Canvas course shells for the upcoming winter and spring terms are now ready for you to access and begin your course preparations. To locate your courses, click on the “Courses” button and select “All Courses” for a full listing. Make sure to ‘favorite’ your courses for them to appear on your Dashboard for easy access. Please note that titles for cross-listed courses will be updated to reflect their status in due course.
To assist you in setting up your courses efficiently, we’ve curated a selection of resources:
- Import a ready-made course template or starter pack directly from the Canvas Commons.
- View the Canvas Course Set Up Process Videos for step-by-step guidance.
- Transfer materials from a previous Canvas course or a migrated Sakai course. Remember that migrated Sakai courses are marked with the tag of a previous semester (e.g., Sp22).
- Familiarize yourself with the course setup process document specific to your school: CAS, CPA, MSB, LAW.
- Enhance your Canvas skills by reviewing the UBalt Growing with Canvas Course.
