Last Call to Join Fall 2024 PIE!
Looking to deepen your understanding of Canvas LMS and enhance your digital accessibility skills? The Promoting Instructional Excellence (PIE) Program, starting today and running through December 2, 2024, is designed to help you do just that! This self-paced program is perfect for faculty looking to sharpen their course design, assessment strategies, and engagement techniques—while also ensuring accessibility and inclusivity in every aspect of their teaching.
Participants will have the opportunity to map out their courses with CELTT’s support and complete independent modules focusing on key areas such as:
- Course Design: Build a course map that aligns with learning objectives.
- Assessments: Design meaningful assessments that support student success.
- Accessibility: Learn how to create accessible documents and caption videos, a vital skill for equitable learning experiences.
- Canvas LMS Mastery: Enhance your ability to navigate and utilize Canvas to its full potential.
- Inclusive Teaching: Reflect on and develop culturally responsive teaching practices.
The program concludes with a capstone project where you’ll choose from Authentic Discussions, Remote Reflections, or Collaborative Groupwork to create a course activity you can immediately apply.
