Join the CELTT Teaching Scholars in Residence Program!
Are you passionate about teaching and learning? Do you want to lead the way in shaping UBalt’s future in education? The Center for Excellence in Learning, Teaching, and Technology (CELTT) is excited to announce the launch of our Teaching Scholars in Residence (TSiR) program for Spring 2025!
We’re calling on faculty from every academic unit—CAS, CPA, LAW, MSB, and RLB—to become a part of this dynamic initiative. As a Teaching Scholar, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Lead and Inspire: Serve as a CELTT advisory board member and help guide teaching excellence initiatives.
- Conduct Research: Dive into the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) to advance pedagogy across UBalt.
- Mentor and Collaborate: Work across disciplines, sharing knowledge and supporting peers in their teaching journeys.
- Shape the Future: Help steer the direction of faculty growth and foster a culture of continuous improvement in teaching.
In addition to making a lasting impact, Teaching Scholars receive:
- Professional Growth: $1500 toward a professional development opportunity of your choice.
- Research Support: Resources and time for your SoTL research through a course release.
- Recognition: Be part of a prestigious group leading the charge in teaching innovation at UBalt.
