Kala Fryman

Kala was born in Grove City, Pennsylvania, but has lived in Baltimore off and on since high school. She graduated from Drexel University with a B.A. in International Area Studies, focusing on International Justice and Human Rights. Prior to law school, Kala worked as a foreign education credential evaluator for Laureate Education. She currently works as a senior foreign credential evaluator for Silvergate Evaluations providing evaluations for employment immigration. After graduation, Kala intends to work as a non-profit immigration attorney and represent unaccompanied minors. Kala’s interest in the LDDC stems from her interest in learning more about technology and data analysis, as both are indispensable in advancing social justice and equitable legal reform.
