Kira Baran was born in Baltimore City and raised in Harford County, Maryland. She graduated from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore with a Bachelor of Arts in English (non-teaching). Prior to law school, Kira worked as a paralegal at an asbestos litigation law firm in downtown Baltimore, Maryland. Kira has approximately three years of personal injury experience. Currently, Kira works as a Law Clerk at The Office of the State’s Attorney for Baltimore City. She had the pleasure of assisting the State’s Attorney Office for Baltimore City vacate hundreds of cases where citizens were exploited by the Gun Trace Task Force of the Baltimore City Police Department. After graduation, Kira will clerk on the Circuit Court for Baltimore City.
