2024 The Body

The Maker, A.D.

The Body

In your body, I find a blessing.

A warmth that cradles me like a forgotten home.

Every touch, every glance,

A silent love that never fades.

I am the breeze that kisses your skin,

A tree rooted deep, finding purpose in your embrace.

In your warmth, I am more than just flesh.

I am home.

I am the blessing of the body I love.

Footprints of the heart, shadows that dance in the night,

You move like whispers on moss, secrets tucked in every step.

I find you in the mist,

In the sweet brush of wounds healed and hidden.

Our tracks, like tangled cobwebs, lead me into the labyrinth.

This anxious life is exciting, despite the clouds of dark chains pulling tight.

I watch from a distance,

Unravelling your truth and understanding the pulse of your soul.

My heart beats fast and feverishly, seeking your love, your touch, the peace I’ve never known.

When I close my eyes, I see you.

You are the traces of my madness,

A passion written in every secret,

Mysterious echoes of the heart.

Let me into your world,

Flood my life with your love,

And I will never leave this harbour.

Your secrets are now mine.

My destiny is bound to you, in the light and in the dark.

The autumn wind stirs,

Rippling across the land like a melody only we can hear.

Desire blooms, slow and deliberate,

In every gesture, in every accidental touch,

The scent of it lingers –

A soft evidence of happiness,

A silent flame flickering in the shadows.

When we touch, the world pauses,

And in the fragrant air of that fleeting moment,

We simply feel –

Timeless, together, and whole.
