STEVEN GLASS (United States, b. 1974) holds a BA in English from the University of New Mexico and a MFA in Creative Writing & the Publishing Arts from the University of Baltimore. True to his namesake his artistic career began by collecting glass and painting on it. He uses mediums primarily found in graffiti, such as spray paint and streakers (paint sticks) as well as screen printing. Interested in layers and shadows he paints on acrylic, glass, glass blocks, and wood. He has shown at Sotheby’s and the National Arts Club in New York City, and out west at the National Wildlife Museum and the Center for the Arts in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, he now currently resides in Victor, ID.
