Ghost Music
I hope you are a piece of consciousness
that my music can still reach,
still lure you with the language
we shared on those summer evenings
when my music sent my mind
floating into yours
while you sat, eyes closed, ears alert
at the sonic door I entered
bearing messages without words.
I hope the sound charms you still
and we are sharing something at the core,
deep in the mystery of where you’ve gone.
