In celebration of National Library Week, Langsdale Library will be hosting 2 events in the Langsdale Auditorium. Admission is free and open to the public.
On Monday, April 13th at 5:30pm, Langsdale Library will host a showing and discussion of God Sleeps in Rwanda. Nominated for an Academy Award in 1995, God Sleeps in Rwanda explores the lives of 5 women who survived the 1994 Rwanda Genocide. The discussion will be facilitated by Dr. Nijole Benokraitis, Professor Emerita at UB.
On Wednesday, April 15th at 12:30pm, Langsdale Library will host “In the Middle of it All: UB and Central Baltimore”. The presentation will focus on UB’s work in central Baltimore. Presented by: Jessica Elfenbein, Associate Provost for University Engagement , Christina Ralls, Community Artist, and Johnny Gamber, VISTA Member.
