Welcome (and welcome back) UB students! We’re excited to get the Fall 2010 semester underway. We have a lot of exciting things to offer you this semester. If you’re getting started with research in a new subject, check out our newly redesigned subject guides. They look great and contain great information including how to find books, articles and websites, how to cite sources and a list of useful websites on your subject. You may even find a guide designed specifically for a class you’re taking.
If you’re looking for help in the library, you may want to contact your subject librarian. This librarian works with the faculty and students in the department to ensure everyone has what they need and their questions are answered.
If you’re tuning in to the library blog for the first time, or if you’re a long time reader, I want to remind you of a few ways to keep in touch with us. You can find us on Facebook and Twitter. You can call the library at 410.837.4260, you can chat with us online or you could stop by!
As you progress through school this semester, please keep in mind that the library is a great resource. We’re happy to help. If we can’t help, we’ll point you in the direction of someone who can.
