Chronicle Editorial Dispels Myths of the Internet Age

In an editorial in the Chronicle of Higher Education, Harvard librarian Robert Darnton discusses 5 Myths of the Information Age. Here he talks about the important role libraries provide in service to the community, be it assisting job seekers with job information, sifting through a mass of information to find relevant material or helping students with academic assignments. He also dispels the myth that everything is available online, citing the wealth of archival materials that have not yet been digitized.
