It might be because we’re busier, or maybe it’s a lack of summer reading programs like we had as kids (although Enoch Pratt Free Library has a great adult summer reading program). Hopefully this summer you’ll find time at the beach, on your stoop, or enjoying your air conditioning with a great book. The Internet has many sources of inspiration:

Many of our librarians are headed to Las Vegas for this year’s American Library Association Annual Conference to present on assessment research and AV preservation, and to learn about what other libraries and librarians are accomplishing across the country.
