The Wired Campus blog of the Chronicle of Higher Education recently featured an article about a game designed to teach students how to find and cite sources for research papers. The game, called Bibliobouts, was developed at the University of Michigan. Langsdale Library’s Catherine Johnson was one of a small group of professors who tested the first version of Bibliobouts in a class and you can read some of her comments in the article. With the information learned from the initial trial, Bibliobouts was improved and is now available in a beta version for other professors who might want to try it out in their classes.
