Future of the book??

With the rise of online articles, e-books, and e-book readers, there as been much prognosticating about the demise of the book. Many say it’s not a matter of if, but rather when, and some suggest that books will be obsolete within this decade. To hear some of these predictions, read the latest story on the future of books from National Public Radio (NPR).

Libraries, of course, are evolving to offer new resources and services to students, staff and faculty in this electronic age, and Langsdale is no exception.
